Orchard Close

Orchard Close

Pupils can join Orchard Close, the Junior School of Sibford School, anytime between the ages of four and 10 years old.

Our small classes and focused teaching ensure that both girls and boys make excellent progress during their time with us and most proceed to Sibford School and Sibford Sixth to further their education.

Our children are taught to value, support and respect the contribution of every member of the community and we endeavour to live by our school moto 'each talented, each different, all valued'.

Sibford Senior School

Sibford Senior School

At Sibford we believe that the learning process should be an exciting adventure, and that school is only the beginning.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum for day and boarding pupils between the ages of 11 and 16 which reflect our view that while some may have a talent for mathematics, science or history, others may be gifted in the arts, horticulture or sport.

All disciplines are equally respected and dedicated teachers nurture and inspire their pupils to cultivate a thirst for life-long learning.

In 2007, Sibford School recorded its highest ever percentage of A* and A grades at GCSE, while our value added results placed up in the top 5% of school of schools nationally.

Sibford Sixth

Sibford Sixth Form offers students the opportunity to continue their education in a creative, supportive and challenging environment.

We offer over 20 A level subjects plus an intermediate level programme for those wishing to strengthen GSCE results.

Twenty-seven Sibford candidates sat their A Level exams in 2007. 100% passed at grade A-E and 74% were grades A-C. Our 2007 value added results place us in the top 10% of schools nationally at A Level and all students were successful in gaining places at their first choice of Higher Education.

The Sixth form is open to day and boarding pupils between the ages of 16 and 18 and welcomes students from Sibford Senior School as well as those from other educational establishments.
